«Viva Valesiae!» was composed for the 2019 Valais Cantonal Music Festival in Naters, Switzerland, to accompany the celebrations.
The work can be seen as a musical tribute to the cultural diversity and, in particular, to the great musical creativity of the Canton of Valais.
